The 26 acre grounds at Eden Valley are there for friends and family to use in which ever way they feel is fitting to say goodbye to their loved one. Many families chose to have a simple grave side service, some set up chairs and tables, others have a picnic, the choice is yours. Eden Valley is, by its nature, an outdoor space and is therefore subject to the weather and all the varieties it brings. We appreciate that in the winter months or on wet and windy days the prospect of a grave side service may not seem appealing or practical. Many families have chosen to hire a gazebo or marquee for the day so that they can have a sheltered space in which to have a service and which also means they do not have to travel between different locations on the day of the funeral. We have a very good relationship with Glorious Gazebos and we strongly suggest to get in contact with them should you consider hiring a gazebo or marquee for the day.

Not all families chose to have a service at Eden Valley but instead have a service elsewhere and then travel to Eden Valley for the interment. For families who would like a funeral service and perhaps a wake afterwards outside of Eden Valley there are several venues we recommend considering.

You are of course welcome to get in touch with any venue regarding a funeral service, however the list of venues above have been chosen because of the quality of the establishment and also its close locality to Eden Valley. If you are unsure about what to do regarding a funeral service either at Eden Valley or at a venue elsewhere, Amy and Martin are there to talk to you and offer advice.
